More I shoot Tokarev - more I like it. Now I am not just shooting it, but learn - read literature, practice myself, try different sings. So far I found when shooting American way with two hands - everything goes left, and shooting Russian way - everything goes right from the target. Now I am thinking about that, trying to understand why and how to fix it or how to use it. Quite interesting. After shooting 25 yards - got bit depressed - can not always hit the circle, it is even worse then before, because I an thinking now... But then I set target with four smaller circles (150mm vs 200mm) and everything goes quite accurate, And when I see target from next post, where guy had like ten different pistols, all my depression fade - his target was like sprayed all over outside single circle he has. I got proud of Russian Weapons - in particular Tokarev pistol.
Pin which holds firing pin lost part of its head and now tend too leave, I have to watch it and push back time to time. Need to replace it. I can use regular screw there, but wondering if I can find original pin. After shooting this 1953 Romanian Tokarev I want to have brand new one, but most likely it will not be allowed in California, This is quite unfortunate - I really like this gadget, because so far I see no any problems with this one, only may think about softer trigger and tritium on sight. It was 1 700 000 made in Russia - hope some unused ones will find their way for sale in US someday...
