Вылечилось это перезагрузкой - можно поздравить Apple - его сисетма деградировала до уровня Windows, то есть даже из Unix инженераы Apple умудрились сделать не работающее г...но.

I had to restart to fix it! "Congratulations" to Apple developers - OSX is like Microsoft Windows! So they manage to degrade Unix to piece of shit which is barely working.

Apple Geniuses just suck! They are like classic BOFH now. I had horrible experience again and it getting worse and worse year to year. It is just too many of them! Now they busy with their little process and do not care about customers no more. When it was much less of them - 8 years ago they were honest and helpful, now they are not single engineers but hundred headed hydra where one ping-pong you to another and that one to someone else, and no one care, because there are one single organism performing their process dance.

Funny, but their managers looks exactely like my old "pals" comsomol leaders (young communist organization) back from USSR - they looks good with nice haircat, energetic, driving this meaningless process and absolutely do not care about anything else.

I was so really angry and I decide to give them bad review... Well, I went to search for reviews for Aplle store technical support - ... why bother? They are rated horrible like everywhere!

This is excellent example of organization turning into bureaucratic monster which just exist to perform their precious process in a sake of process. They are disconnected from real world - do not know and do not care what is around and how people see them. And it is clearly observed over last year - I already wrote about that twice at March this year. This disease progressing fast!


Apple now is just sad Parkinson's law story.

Apple keep wasting money hiring all this "geniuses" in the stores. This time iPhone4S hangs up during upgrade, not my fault in any way. I call store - person on the line has no idea how to fix it (simple combination of keys need to be pressed when it is attached to computer). He only know how to schedule appointment and know how to do it only to next day. When I sad I need phone today I start hearing "Oh god!" - toward me... like "What a stupid customers!" or something. Wow!

I can imagine this thing may work on his younger siblings, or on his high school friends, or whatever but I asked him to talk to his manager to complain about his unprofessional behavior - he put me on hold, after 15 minutes waiting I called again, speak to some other guy "Vidjay" who sad - his manager or whoever responsible for customer calls is busy - which is not as it suppose to be, at least for all other companies, when you ask managers - you got manager right away - not for Apple. I left my contact information - nobody called me, of course, I am pretty sure nobody even bother to write my complain down.

When I come to store - turns out I do not need to wait next day and I can have appointment in 5 minutes. Technician came and fix my problem in no time, and I did not have to visit actually and waste my time - he told me how to fix it, quite easy, but those guy who answer my call was too distracted with all this customers who he should answer, he barely was able to be rude and arrogant - up to the minimal Apple Customer Service Standards.

Again Apple has all this billions to waste and wasting it for good hiring those kind of guys and make loyal customers like me disappointed again in Apple services.

Apple stores, perhaps, because of Apple record profit, degrading last year significantly. Now our store crowded with lot of apple people, all of them busy checking their iPads walking from one to another. But this is all idle work. I have appointment, I came 15 minutes early - several Apple employee came by and ask me about my appointment and check something in their iPad, any way I had to wait and wait - 30 minutes after my appointment. I waste about hour! During this time I observe how all this blue shorted Apple sales just circling around from one to another very busy checking something in their iPads, I count about five full circles they did while I wait when some will give me some help. Funny part was that at this time of the day it was quite few customers, about three times less them Apple employes most of them were waiting as well as me.

This is like cray illustration from Parkinson book. More staff - less work, because staff reach critical mass when they just keep busy them self and have no time for real business to do. It also does not look like they were socializing - they discuss some important matters, check each other, synchronize effort etc... And customers with appointment had to wait about half hour to got some attention.

Few years ago when I walk in Apple store someone come by and do all what I need from start to finish. Now with four times more people one register me at entry, another do check when I inside, another keep monitoring if I someone talk to me already until person who actually do what I need came by and help. This is in deed Parkinson laws in action. Well, Apple has tons of money to waste...

Shame on Apple.

Работа с фотографиями на IPad - пример отвратительного дизайна и исполнения. Простая операция по уменьшению размеров фотографии что бы освободить немного памяти превращается в работу на полдня с привлечением компьютера - на который надо все фотки скачать и уменьшить, SD карточки с помощью которой потом эти фотографии записать обратно (Wi-Fi перекачка займет гораздо больше времени) и удаления каждой фотографии в ручную. Пример того как из-за отвратительной работы программистов у людей возникают проблемы там где их быть не должно. Я уж не говорю о невозможности рассортировать фотки по своим альбомам и прочаи косяки. Позор аппловским программистам, которые написали отвратительную работу с фотографиями!

Working with photoes on IPad suck big time.Simple resizing to save some space turns into half day programmer job which involve additional computer, Sd card to move them back (because Wi-Fi upload takes time) and also require picture by picture delete... This is good sample how bad programming make users life terrible there where it should not be. I do not want even start about luck of basic photo organizing tools to create new alboms and move pictures from one to another... Shame on Apple programmers who did this terrible photos handling!
